Black Pepper has a spicy, strong peppery aroma. It helps stimulates the circulatory system and can be used in massage blends to help relieve pain caused by arthritis, sprains, and joint stiffness. It is also said to help increase alertness and memory and is sometimes used to help relieve congestion and flu symptoms. Black pepper is known to be antibacterial, antimicrobial, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, digestive, and stimulant.
