Sugar

Sucrose is the processed residue derived via distilling a source of organic sugar such as cane or beet. Sugar is the generalized name for a class of chemically-related sweet-flavored substances, most of which are used as food. The weird thing about what we call food, unless it is pulled off a tree or from the ground, it is only food in name. The stuff we often call food was food then it was destroyed by cooking or processing, it’s now a chemical concatenation mashed together and recooked. Sugar is a chemical stimulant with an exciting taste and addictive behavior in our cells.

Humans cherish sugar for the express purpose of getting a “mild high.” Over time sugar intake is a damaging as any drug as it destroys organ function superheating the system and racing it. Man always keeps his addictions close at hand, as witnessed on our restaurants tables as on them we always find sugar and salt. When we consume chemicals that are not part of and found in a RAW whole FOODS; the body is forced to react to them versus use them. Cells use food but react to support their function but react defensively to processed or distilled chemicals.

When we consider the harmful effects of sugar we think it only includes white sugar, false. All processed sugars damage the body as they are processed. Listed here are the types of processed sugars that damage the body; honey, agave, brown sugar, white sugar, stevia, molasses, maple syrup, corn syrup and beet sugar. Honey and maple syrup have medicinal uses and should be left in that role as we should need or use sweeteners. A huge part of self-poisoning comes via eating processed carbohydrates (breads, rice and crackers) that convert to dangerous sugars in our digestive tract. Beware and be healthy.
